Obituary of MARY ELLEN ROMANO

Mary Ellen Romano (nee Cianci), 74, passed away Monday afternoon, July, 6, 2015 at Care One in Parsippany, surrounded by her family. Born in New York, NY, Mrs Romano had lived in West New York, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1971. Mrs. Romano worked as a teachers aide with the Parsippany-Troy HIlls school system for 30 years retiring in 2014. During her tenure. she served at the Troy Hills, Northvail, and Knollwood Schools. She was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James Romano; a daughter, Dina Romano of Parsippany; and a sister, Loretta Venuti of Florida.
