I first met Mona when we became almost next door neighbors 8 years ago and became "fast friends." Soon after, based loosely on "Everybody Loves Raymond", I occasionally would say to her, "Mona Knows Everybody" recognizing her engaging personality and far reaching network of friends. She was immensely proud of her daughter and I miss her already. -Bill B

Mona has been my friend since 1969. She was my student at Madison High School but she became part of our family from then on. Loyal, kind, loving, fierce...she was all of these things and more. But her most important strength was being a great mom.
