Mrs. Helen Tolnai (nee Kogut) passed away suddenly August 13, 2015 at her home in Parsippany. She would have celebrated her 102nd birthday on August 23.
Mrs. Tolnai was born in Passaic and was a longtime resident of Garfield before coming to Parsippany 15 years ago.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany and had been a volunteer at the Lake Hiawatha Library until the age of 98.
Preceded in death by her husband Joesph Tolnai in 2000; she is survived by her three loving children, Raymond Tolnai of Sparta, Jean Detlefsen of Parsippany, and Joseph Tolnai Jr. of Cummings, GA.; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
