Domenick J. Manna, 88, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at his home in Montville following an extended illness.
Born and raised in Jersey City, he was a resident of Lyndhurst before moving to Montville 33 years ago.
Mr. Manna was a United States Navy Veteran. He served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II and was injured and disabled while serving.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mauro Manna, and his sisters, Sr. Mary Mauro Manna, Joanna Manna, and Juliette Principato.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elizabeth (nee Schubert); two children, Robert Manna and his wife Sue of Pompton Plains, and Leslie Ursinowicz and her husband Joe of Butler; a brother Louis Manna; five grandchildren, Laura Heller, Robert Manna, Dominick Manna, and Jenna Manna and Deena Manna; and five great grandchildren, John and Nicholas Heller, and Eva, Sonia, and Mauro Manna.
