Obituary of NAJIRAN BABY GHANNY

Najiran "Baby" Ghanny (nee Ali) passed away Friday evening, October 9, 2015 at Genesis/ Troy Hills Nursing Home in Parsippany following a long illness. She was 87. Born in Gasparrilo, Trinidad, she immigrated to the United States in 1969, settling in Irvington. She had lived in the Lake Hiawatha/ Parsippany area for the last 40 years. Mrs. Ghanny had worked in food preparation at Joe's Italian Restaurant in Irvington, retiring many years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abdul Ghanny in 1986, and her children, Usman Ghanny and Aphrose Halpin. She is survived by her children, Fedosha Deen of Lake Hiawatha, Jennifer Ali of Colonia, Nazool "Steve" Ghanny of Montville, Sheriffa Ali of Marlboro, Shaffie Ghanny of Linden, Ahmad Ghanny of California, Thomas Afraz Ghanny of California, and Imzak Ghanny of Florida; her siblings, Zambo Ali of Trinidad, Batie Whitmore of California, and Sherma Deen of Staten Island; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
