Obituary of ROBERTA ANN CANTOR

Roberta Ann Cantor (nee Hochhauser), 76, passed away Monday morning, October 12, 2015 at her home in Parsippany surrounded by family. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she had resided in Parsippany since 1969. Mrs. Cantor had worked as a payroll master with the Morris County Vocational and Technical School for 25 years, retiring in 2012. Mrs. Cantor served two terms on the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education. She was a longtime member of Temple Beth Am in Parsippany where she had served as membership chairperson. She was preceded in death by her son, James Seth Cantor in 2009, and her two sisters, Margery Honig and Gail (Lolly) Hochhauser. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Richard Cantor; two children, Lauren Beth Cantor and her husband, David Cropper of Madison, and Fredrick Andrew Cantor and his wife, Samara of Suffern, NY; three grandchildren, Noah, Elle, and Chase Cantor; her nieces and nephews, Linda and Bill Kearns and Ken and Jen Honig; and several great-nieces and nephews.
