Gary J. Schoonover Jr. passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at University Hospital in Newark.
Born in Montclair, he was a lifelong resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany.
Mr. Schoonover was the owner and proprietor of Gary's Plumbing Inc. of Parsippany for over 30 years before becoming ill. He was a member of the Master Plumbers Association of NJ.
Preceded in death by his son, Brandon; He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nancy L. (nee Rogovin); two daughters, Jennifer and Kelsey Schoonover both of Lake Hiawatha; two siblings, Debby Basile and Joseph Schoonover, both of Pennsylvania; his father-in-law, Jed Rogovin and many loving extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be most appreciated.
