Becky's Dad and my Dad were brothers and I cherished her as a cousin and wish we could have seen each other more often as I still live in Harlingen Texas where we were born. She had a loving and caring heart for everyone and always had a sweet smile on her face. Love you Becky!

Becky was one of the best people I have ever known. She was kind and sweet and when she would make her chocolate covered pretzels and bring them into work she would always say shhh don't tell anyone but I gave you extra. I suspect she gave everyone extra and just told us that to make us feel special.
Our company has summer hours and Becky, Tina, and I did not take summer hours so Becky decided we would have a fake party and take pictures to show our co-workers what a good time we had after they left. She brought in hats and fake drinks and we posed with them making the hours that we felt left behind fun and our co-workers jealous.
Becky also shared her love of the Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo with my son CJ and her fine cooking as well. Many times my children ask me to make "Becky's Salad" which is an amazing taco salad that has become a staple in our home.
Becky loved her daughters and was so happy to see Rachel enjoying her job and Rebecca's engagement. I recently got to know Becky's brother and I have worked with her sister as well. Each and every family member being as kind and funny as Becky herself a true testament to an amazing and loving family.
I will miss my beautiful friend but I take great comfort in the fact that she is reunited with her baby boy and is laughing down from heaven and playing a few jokes up there.
Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and mentor. I will remember you always.

I will always remember Becky with a smile on my face when I think of her sense of humor, our conversations about our favorite soap opera, her love of the Dallas Cowboys, all things Texas and Chicago, Halloween and of course her great cooking and baking. I will think of Becky fondly whenever I have a cupcake, she made the best! She has been and will be so missed in the office. She fought so bravely and with great dignity. Now she is reunited with her family in heaven. I will keep her and the entire Gutierrez family in my prayers. Rest in peace Becky, we love and miss you.

This is sad news. I have very fond memories of "band days" with Becky. I remember laughing the first time I was at her house. She gave me a tour and opened a door and said "This is the wine cellar" and there was one lonely bottle of wine sitting in the middle of the floor. I think of her at Christmas when I'm decorating. I still put out the trio of angels she made us one year - which represented Becky, Trina and me. She will be missed.
