Alessio (Alex) Drapeylo, of Lake Hiawatha, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 71.
Mr. Drapeylo was born in Cori Latina, Italy and settled in New York before moving to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany many years ago.
Alex was a pizza maker at Valentino's Pizzaria restaurant in Lake Hiawatha for many years, retiring 4 years ago. Prior to this, he was a very talented and expert machinist in Brooklym, NY for many years.
He is survived by his former wife and beloved best friend, M. Claudia Acocella; his loving children, Theodore, Joseph, Michael, and Aaron; his dear brothers and sisters in Italy; four devoted grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
