Obituary of FRANK A. CHIMENTO

Frank A. Chimento Jr., 69, passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 13, at his home in West Caldwell surrounded by his family. Born in Newark, Mr. Chimento had lived in Nutley and Roseland before coming to West Caldwell 10 years ago. Mr. Chimento started working in the family construction business with his father at a young age, before venturing out on his own in 1972. He was the owner of Chimento Construction where he had worked along side his son, Frank until retiring 5 years ago. He was a charter member and past president of Montville Unico. He was also a member of Unico National and served as Past District Governor of NJ District 11. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Grace (nee Cafro); three beloved children, Frank A. Chimento III, Dawn Capobianco and her husband Dino, and Renee Chimento; his two cherished grandchildren, John and Olivia Sammaro; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Pugliese. In lieu of flowers, donations to Montville Unico Foundation, P.O. Box 788, Montville, NJ 07045, would be appreciated.
