Barbara A. Flanagan (nee DuBois) passed away suddenly Monday morning, Jan. 11, 2016 at her home in Parsippany.
Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Flanagan had been a resident of Parsippany since 1983.
She had been a clerical worker with the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company of Parsippany and later Liberty Corner for 15 years before retiring.
Barbara always enjoyed life to the fullest. She was good to everyone. She loved visiting Las Vegas and Disneyland with her family. Barbara was a fixture at all of her grandchildrens' sports events and was affectionately called "grandma" by all their friends.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph J. Flanagan; a daughter, Linda Walstedt; a son, Brian Flanagan and his wife Renae; her siblings, Jean Siino, Michael DuBois, Steven DuBois, Patricia DuBois, and Rosemary Sanzari; and five adored grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, and Jenna Walstedt, and Connor and Madison Flanagan.
