Obituary of GLORIA M. HARASTS

Gloria M. Harasts (nee Riccioli) passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 19, 2016 at Morristown medical Center. Born and raised in Jersey City, she was a resident of the Pine Brook section of Montville for 43 years. A retired bookkeeper, she was a homemaker and grandmother extraordinaire. Mrs. Harasts was a longtime member of St. Pius X R. C. Church and its Rosary Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dineen Picerno and a sister, Isabel Biedenkapp. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Steve Harasts; two children, Angelo Harasts and his wife Marbie of Pine Brook, and Nicole Sapp and her husband David of Andover; her son-in-law, Mike Picerno of Paramus; two sisters, Anna Bellero of Jersey City and Marie Demarcky of Highland Park; and six grandchildren, Amanda, Cassandra, and Katrina Harasts and Tyler, Autumn, and Hunter Sapp. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045.
