Anna Costa (nee Poli) passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Regency Grande Nursing Center in Dover, following an extended illness. She was 88.
Born and raised in Camden, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Pennsauken and later Gloucester Township, NJ before coming to Dover 6 years ago.
Mrs. Costa had been a clerk with the Township of Pennsauken, NJ before her retirement in 1991.
She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, watching her soap operas and spending time tih her friends.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Lamarra and his partner, David of Boonton, and James Costa and his wife Lisa of Citrus Hills, FL.; a brother, Larry Poli of Wildwood, NJ; her "daughter" Diane Piccari of Pennsauken, and three "granddaughters", Frances, Joanne, and Janet. Mrs. Costa had been preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Masso and Angela Saia.
Arrangements are private. The family will be planing a private memorial servicel in the future.
