Lucy Chen (nee Long) passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Claire's Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was 92.
Born in Nanjing, China, she immigrated to the United States in 1969, settling in Manhattan, NY. She had also lived in Passaic, NJ before moving to the Towaco section of Montville Township, 22 years ago.
She had worked as a Registered Nurse, both in China and later at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City, before retiring 27 years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Yet-Hai Chen; her children, Vivian Cavagero of Flushing, NY, Kim Chen of Towaco, NJ, Esther Chen of Greenwich, CT, Chu Chen of Towaco, NJ, John Chen of Flushing, NY, May Chen of Towaco, NJ, and Shan Chen of Towaco, NJ; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
