Dan Chan Lam passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 92. Born in 1923 in Baclieu, Republic of South Vietnam, he immigrated to the United States in 1989, settling in Parsippany. Mr. Lam had worked as a Customs Officer for the Republic of South Vietnam, before retiring in 1975. Mr. Lam is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Thuc Thanh Tran; seven children, Xuyen Tiep Lam of Boonton, Po Chep Lam of Lake Hiawatha, LeKhanh ("Lee") Thi Lam of Parsippany, LeBinh ("Lee") Thi Lam of Parsippany, Huy Tiep ("Henry") Lam of Parsippany, Sum Lam Tran of Denville, LeDuyen ("Linda") Lam Tran of Boonton; and nine grandchildren.
