Obituary of WILLIAM F. REGAN

William Francis Regan Jr, 85, passed away on March 31, 2016 at his home in Montville, NJ where he had lived for 48 years.
Bill was born in New York City on May 23, 1930, son of the late William Francis and Florence (McCrudden) Regan. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Grover Cleveland HS, West Caldwell, in 1948 and Seton Hall University in 1956 with a B.S. in Biology. Bill proudly served in the Air Force for several years.
A salesman by trade, he had worked with various companies, most recently Mettler Lab Equipment, before his retirement 23 years ago.
Bill and his wife Dolores were charter members of the Lake Valhalla Swim and Tennis Club where they spent many memorable summers with their family. Bill was also a volunteer on the Montville First Aid Squad for over 25 years, and a Lector at St Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Montville for many years.
He was preceded in death by Dolores (Dillon), his wife of 55 years, and is survived by his 5 children, Peggy (David) Picklesimer, Bill (Amy) Regan, Tom (Rose Mary) Regan, John (Sue) Regan, and Mary Pat (Craig) Paris; his 12 grandchildren, Kevin (Amber), Karen (Will), Michael, Jenny, Sean, Liam, Catherine, Dillon, James, Shannon, Caitlin, and Regan; his great-grandson, Micah; as well as his beloved brothers, Richard (Joann) Regan and Ray (Sis) Regan, and his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his caregivers Anna, Nkechi and Ben, for their loving and patient support.
