Sofia Lepore (nee Boccardo), 83, passed away Sunday morning, April 17, 2016 at her home in the Pine Brook section of Montville.
Born in Benevenuto, Italy, she immigrated to the United States in 1956, settling in East Orange. She had lived in Pine brook for the last 46 years.
Mrs. Lepore was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Angelo A. Lepore; two daughters, Maria Lepore and Michelle Knapp and her husband Frederick; and two granddaughters, Lauren and Kristen Knapp. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Pasquale and Mario Boccardo.
