To Nancy's family - my heart felt sorrow goes out to you and your family at this time of loss. Nancy was probably 1 of my favorite ladies. What a sweet soul. I will always remember and appreciate the great impact that Nancy and Bill have had on my family and what a great influence they have always been for me and my children. You are gone but will never be forgotten.

David and Isobel Cassells posted a condolence

David and Isobel Cassells, England have the fondest of memories of Nancy. Her love for the Lord, His Gospel and Word was unpretentious and truly heart-warming. She was one of a kind. Her works do follow her. To Bill and all the family the Cassells family send their love and assurance of prayers for now and the time to come. We await the Lord's coming or His call, whichever. But we know that through the blood of the Lamb we will all be together with Christ one sweet day. 1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." Amen.

We have great memories of Brother Bill and Nancy visiting us in Nova Scotia, sitting around the table at Tim Hortons or a local restaurant to laugh and fellowship. Brother Bill & family - We pray that God will be your comfort and that His grace will sustain you during this difficult time. What a wonderful reunion we will have with our Lord and His servants someday! Thank you for your heart for missions and desire to encourage us so many times while serving our Lord in NS over 32 years. Praise the Lord that "God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever." (Psalm 73:26)

Bill and Family, as I sit here at a desk at Camp Impact in central Germany, I have Nancy's picture before me and think back over various occasions on that side of "the Pond" and this where our paths crossed. It didn't happen very often - a conference in Tùˆbingen, a service in New Jersey, or receptions in Greenville. What words can actually comfort at a time like this? The Apostle Paul said, "Wherefore comfort one another with these words." What were those words? They were not the words by which you shall be saved, as in Acts 11:14. Nor were they the empty words with which people can be deceived (Ephesians 5:6). No, they were the words that bring comfort to the saved (1.Thess. 4:18). Among them: "We shall be caught up together WITH THEM ... and so shall WE ever be with the Lord." No doubt, the prospect of a blessed eternity with our closest loved ones (and the LORD) does more to console the grieving heart than any number of other things I might dream up to say. May our loving God minister His abundant grace to your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus at this time and until faith becomes sight.
Sincerely, Bradley McKenzie with Krischa (nee Matthia) and our Children

"Hey, Jute, you want to hear something funny?!" Did Nan and I ever laugh together! My fondest memories are of a dear friend who wanted to help lighten the load instead of adding to it. Whether it was for a late Italian dinner at Guidos in Dover or Israel, Puerto Rico, Vermont, it didn't matter because Nan and I could always find something to laugh at. I always came away refreshed and blessed by her practicality. She grew in wisdom and knowledge as she allowed the Lord to work in her life. She never could find a verse to justify sleeping in till noon. I used to joke with her about the meaning of "rise up early" and her retort would be "early in the afternoon". I am reminded daily of her generosity when I play my baby grand piano! What a joy, what a pleasure, what a welcome home celebration for my dear sister and friend. I love you, Nancy. I'll meet you in the morning!
