Obituary of WILFRED R. SICONOLFI

Wilfred R. "Bill" Siconolfi passed away Saturday morning, June 25, 2016 at Care One in Parsippany. He was 88. Born in Manhattan, NY, he had lived in Staten Island, NY before coming to Parsippany in 1971. Mr. Siconolfi had served in the United States Army at the end of World War II. He was stationed in Europe and received one Silver Star and two Bronze Stars for his service. He was employed as a transportation analyst with BASF in Parsippany for 30 years before retiring in 1990. Previously he worked in the same capacity with Borden Chemicals in new York, NY. Mr. Siconolfi was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10484 of Parsippany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. (nee Moodie) in 1999. Survivors include his three children, Raymond R. Siconolfi of West Orange, Nancy A. Siconolfi of Parsippany, and Philip J. Siconolfi of Great Meadows; a sister, Dorothy DiFrancisco; and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Veterans Administration would be appreciated.
