Obituary of ROBERT V. BISSON

Robert V. "Bob" Bisson, 69, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Clarks Summit, PA following a valiant four-year battle with lung cancer. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was raised in the Packanack Lake section of Wayne before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany over 40 years ago. He had retired to Pennsylvania earlier this year. Bob was the owner and proprietor of "Have Hammer Will Travel" in Lake Hiawatha for 40 years. He was a member of the Parsippany B.P.O.E., Elks Lodge # 2078 of Parsippany and the SAL of the American Legion Parsippanong Post # 249 of Lake Hiawatha. Bob was also an avid outdoorsman, and loved to fish and hunt. Preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Bisson; and a brother, Stephen Bisson; he is survived by his children, Paige Bisson of NC, and Sean Linsky of TX; his step-children, Valerie Balogh of Manville, and Matthew Balogh of VA; four siblings, Jane F. Bisson of Lake Hiawatha, Clare Trauger (Rich) of TN, Marion Baker of DE, and Christopher Bisson of Madison; and many nieces and nephews.
