Obituary of CONSTANTINO C. PALUMBO

Constantino Palumbo passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, Tuesday night, August 2, 2016. He was 93 years old. He was born in Macchia d'Isernia, Molise, Italy on March 1, 1923, to Pasquale and Michela. Constantino immigrated to the United States in 1970 along with his wife and children, settling in Bloomfield, NJ and later in Nutley, NJ, before coming to Montville, NJ in 2005. Constantino spent his whole life working in the construction industry, most recently working for Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ, before retiring in 1985, at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nicolina, who passed away in 2008, his son, Antonio, who passed away in 2010, his grandson, Romolo, and his son-in-law, Mario Tanelli. Constantino is survived by his daughters, Eva Tanelli, Leorita Cifelli and her husband, Joe, Michelle and her husband, Michael; grandchildren; Laura and her husband, Michael, John and his wife, Flora, John and his wife, Adrianne, Joe and his wife, Laura, and Nick, and Anthony; and great-grandchildren; Gabriella, Justin, Joey, and Christopher.
