Evelyn Allen (nee Caputo) passed away Wednesday morning, August 17, 2016 at Arbor Glen Care Center in Cedar Grove following a long illness. She was 79.
Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Allen had lived in Kearny, Belleville, Fair Lawn and Lodi before moving to Cedar Grove four years ago.
She was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her sister, Esther Jones; she is survived by her husband of 32 years, William Allen; a brother, Anthony Caputo Sr. and his wife Violet; a brother-in-law, Robert Jones; three nephews, Michael Jones, Robert Jones, and Anthony Caputo Jr.; and several grand nieces and nephews.
