Obituary of REMEDIOS T. TIMOG

Remedios T. Timog (Nee Tinsay) passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 1, 2016 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville following a long illness. She was 81. Born in Jaro, Iloilo, Philippines, she immigrated the United States in 1990, settling in Jersey City. She was a resident of Boonton since 2003. Mrs. Timog had studied at the University of the East in Manilla, Philippines. She was a homemaker. A devoted mother and grandmother, She was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany. She prayed the Rosary daily and held great devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes. Preceded in death by her daughter, Milagros Felisa Timog; and her brother, Manuel Tinsay; she is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Elias M. Timog; her five loving children, Rosa Remedios Enriquez and her husband Edelfredo of Concord, NC, Jose Loreto Timog and his wife Cecile of the Philippines, Maria Emilia Simonet and her husband Steven of Boonton, Maria Elizabeth Timog of Boonton, and Nestor and his wife Lorena of Hackettstown; as well as nine grandchildren, Elijah Bon, Ina Gabrielle, Corrine Joyce, Erika Danielle, Jessica Loren, Edward Ryan, Colleen Andrea, Maureen Olivia, and Jeremy Roel. In lieu of flowers donations to a memorial fund, in care of the family, would be most appreciated.
