Obituary of JOHN E. DUDDY

John E. Duddy Jr., 81 passed away Friday evening, Dec. 16, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Jersey City, he had been a longtime resident of Montville before moving to Mount Bethel, Pa in 1995.
Mr. Duddy had served stateside in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era.
He was a general sales agent with the All State Insurance Company throughout New Jersey for 35 years preceding his retirement in 1994.
Mr. Duddy was a longtime member of St. Pius X. R.C. Church, Montville, where he served as a lector. He was also an avid hunter and a member of the Lyndhurst Nimrods.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Evan B. Duddy in 1975 and Mitchell J. Duddy in 1977; and a sister, Patricia.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Marjorie T. (nee Ricigliano); six sons, Michael J. Duddy of Montville, Steven P. Duddy of San Mateo, CA, Scott T. Duddy of Mt. Bethel, PA, Matthew S. Duddy of Warren, Christopher N. Duddy of Bloomingdale, Jared M. Duddy of Hackettstown, a sister, Karen Francini of Chatham; ten grandchildren, Dan, Gianna, Philip, Tyler, Christina, Emily, Blake, Jack, Brooke, and Blaire; and one great-granddaughter, Annalee.
