Vernon J. Storms, known to all as "Vern," 64, died suddenly Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany.
Born in Paterson, he was raised in Fair Lawn and lived in Garfield before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 1985.
He earned his Associates Degree from the Bergen Community College in 1972.
Vern had worked as a merchandiser with Eggland's Best of Whippany before retiring in 2012. Previously, he worked as a vitamin coach with Trim Spa in Cedar Knolls, and as a field service computer technician with Global Technologies of Rochelle Park.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Sharon R. Storms (nee Mainenti); his son, Jason Storms of Lake Hiawatha; a brother, John Storms of West Milford; and a sister Joyce Storms of Florida.
