Obituary of ERMA DeANGELO NAPLES

Erma DeAngelo Naples passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 11, 2017 at her home in Lake Hiawatha. She was 99.
Born in Clifton, Mrs. Naples was a longtime resident there and had also lived in Florida before coming to Lake Hiawatha 16 years ago. She also maintained a home in Holiday, Fl.
Mrs. Naples had worked as a court stenographer with the Passaic County Court System, and later served as the first female manager with A & P Supermarkets before her retirement.
She was a member of the Beacon Square Association of Holiday, FL; the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion Post 347 of Clifton, and was a past president of the Clifton Little League Eastern Division.
Mrs, Naples was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, James S. Naples, a son, James S. Naples, Jr.; and eleven siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara V. Izzo and her husband Angelo of Towaco; a brother Eugene DeAngelo of Garfield; and a grandson, Dr. Joseph A. Izzo of Silver Springs, MD.
