Sister Monica helped me many years ago work through some challenging times in my life. This was some 30 years ago. She helped me to come to terms with issues I was confronting. This helped me make the changes necessary to evolve spiritually. For this I will be forever grateful. Thank you Sister Monica. JL

I will never have another friend like you. I'll always treasure the memories of the times we shared and how you helped me when no one else could. I'm sorry I couldn't have been closer as you ended your earthly journey. Rest In Peace, you have earned it. We'll meet again someday.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible makes this comforting promise: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted, he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) It also assures us: "Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you." (Psalm 55:22) May these thoughts bring you a measure of comfort at this difficult time.

Sister Monica's mother and I were fellow Nurses. When Monica was in High School I met her when her Mom brought me home for supper and home-perm by Monica. Years later my high school classmate, Sister Jean Ruppel mentioned Monica's name in requesting prayers for her father. I said I know her mother! Shortly after Sister's father died Jean and Monica came to VA to visit with me. Thereafter, she would come for visits and R & R! MY husband Joe and I felt like family and enjoyed our visits. I am unable to make the trip up to the funeral but will be united spiritually by prayer and Mass. May Sister Monica rest in peace in the loving arms of God!

Monica Vinges was a vibrant, compassionate Sister of Charity, much loved by her congregation, by her students, and by the clients to whom she ministered in the field of social work. She will be greatly missed. God bless you, Sister Monica! --

Sister Monica was my husband Al Gowlis's cousin. Al has been deceased two and a half years now, but he loved his cousin so. We were there for her anniversary celebration. She always made us laugh and always was fun to be with. Rest in peace dear Monica and when you meet Al in heaven, please give him a kiss for me. Love you Chris
