Thomas F. Devaney, Sr, passed away Saturday evening, February 4, 2017 in Blue Ash, Ohio. Mr. Devaney was 91.
Born and raised in West Orange, New Jersey, he was a resident of Parsippany, New Jersey for over 65 years before moving to Liberty Township, Ohio. Mr. Devaney served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Sutton. He was a graduate of Fordham University in New York. He was the senior director of procurement with Singer-Kearfott Aeronautics of Little Falls, New Jersey for over 40 years before his retirement 24 years ago.
Mr. Devaney was preceded in death by his son, Brian P. Devaney. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joanne (nee Rust), a son, Thomas F. Devaney and his wife Laura, and five granddaughters, Meaghan, Kaitlin, Elise, Kathryn, and Kayla.
