Obituary of AUGUST GUS GRANBERG

August H. "Gus" Granberg passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 90.
Born and raised in Newark, he had lived in North Arlington, Bloomfield and East Hanover before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany 20 years ago.
Mr. Granberg served in the United States Navy as a Quartermaster Third Class aboard the SS Tolovana in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.
He was a sales representative with the General Foods Corporation of White Plains, NY for over 25 years before his retirement 30 years ago.
Mr. Granberg had been a volunteer EMT in Bloomfield during the 1960's.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Granberg and his brother, Robert Granberg; he is survived by his two daughters, Iris Caprioni and her husband Daniel of Parsippany and Wendy Brower and her husband Todd of East Hanover; and two grandchildren Amy Rose and Jason Daniel Caprioni.
