Carmen Balmaseda passed away Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2017 at her home in Parsippany following an extended illness. She was 99.
Born in Juana, Puerto Rico, she had lived in New York, NY and Miami Beach, FL., before coming to Parsippany in 2009 to live with her daughter.
Mrs. Balmaseda had worked as a packer with the Sunshine Biscuit Co. of Sayreville, NY for 43 years before retiring 37 years ago.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rachel Negron of Parsippany and Esther Maley of Georgia; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were private. A Memorial Mass will be planned at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Parsippany in the near future.
A Memorial Tree was planted for CARMEN
