Obituary of SURYAKANTABEN C. PATEL

Suryakantaben C. Patel passed away Thursday evening, April 13, 2017 at the University Hospital in Newark, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. Born in South Africa, Mrs. Patel had immigrated to the United States in 1995 settling in Edison. She was currently a resident of Rockaway. A homemaker, Mrs. Patel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chimanbhai Patel; a daughter, Nayanaben Patel; and her grandson, Keval Patel who died while serving his country. Survivors include three sons, Navnitkumar Patel of Texas, Bharatkumar Patel of Lake Parsippany, and Anilkumar Patel of Rockaway; a daughter, Gitaben Patel of Canada; a sister, Savitaben Patel of London; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
