Julia L. Navarro (nee Carbajal) passed away Saturday afternoon, April 15, 2017 at the West Caldwell Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 87. Born in Arequipa, Peru, she immigrated to the United States in 1980 settling in Paterson, NJ. She had also lived in Miami, FL. before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany 7 years ago. A homemaker Mrs. Navarro was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Rolando Navarro; seven children, Leonor Melo of Florida, Felicitas Cueto and her husband Adalberto of Virginia, Amanda Pacheco and her husband Miguel Rodrigues of Maryland, Percy Pacheco and his wife Aracely of Nicaragua, Maritza Tipacti of Paterson, Jesus Alphonso Tipacti and his wife Elizabeth Franco of Lake Hiawatha, and Eliana Carmona and her husband Elbiero of Lake Hiawatha; a brother, Julio Carbajal of California; two sisters, Angelica Carbajal of Florida, and Felicita Carbajal of California; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
