Obituary of SAM MASONE

Sam Masone, passed away Monday morning, June 5, 2017 at his Lake Hiawatha home following an extended illness. He was 88. Born and raised in the Vailsburg section of Newark, NJ, he came to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany, NJ in 1982. Mr. Masone had served stateside in the United States Amy during the Korean War. He was a truck driver with the Veri-Typer Company of East Hanover, NJ for 38 years, retiring 25 years ago. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Pauline (nee DePaolo); his children, Phyllis Metta and her husband Nick, and Sam Masone and his wife Tuey all of Lake Hiawatha; and five grandchildren, Samantha, Nicole, Brittany, Anthony, and Philip. he was preceded in death by six siblings.
