Obituary of WAYNE R. WILLIS

Wayne R. Willis passed away Sunday, June 11, 201 at Morristown Medical Center. Born and raised in Newark, he had been a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany since 1977. He was a 1967 graduate of the Bloomfield Technical School. Mr. Willis was a floor and carpeting installer with the Local 215 Carpenters Union of Edison for 37 years before his retirement 12 years ago. He had been a volunteer with Parsippany-Troy Hills Rescue and Recovery. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandra A. (nee Rizzo); two children, Megan M. McHale and her husband Chris of Fort Lupton, CO, and Nicholas W. Willis and his wife Carla of Parsippany; his siblings, Walter R. Willis of Pennsylvania, Wade Willis of Florida, and Ellen Mikell of Montclair; and six grandchildren, Maya, Wayne Riley, Lily, Jennifer, William, and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his brother William Willis. in lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to Rockaway Neck First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 41, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034.
