Obituary of WAYNE R. WILLIS

Wayne R. Willis passed away Sunday, June 11, 201 at Morristown Medical Center. Born and raised in Newark, he had been a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany since 1977. He was a 1967 graduate of the Bloomfield Technical School. Mr. Willis was a floor and carpeting installer with the Local 215 Carpenters Union of Edison for 37 years before his retirement 12 years ago. He had been a volunteer with Parsippany-Troy Hills Rescue and Recovery. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandra A. (nee Rizzo); two children, Megan M. McHale and her husband Chris of Fort Lupton, CO, and Nicholas W. Willis and his wife Carla of Parsippany; his siblings, Walter R. Willis of Pennsylvania, Wade Willis of Florida, and Ellen Mikell of Montclair; and six grandchildren, Maya, Wayne Riley, Lily, Jennifer, William, and Jackson.
