Mary L. Clark (nee Lucas) passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. She was 66. Mary was born in Orange General Hospital in Orange, NJ. She was raised in Livingston and moved to Lake Hiawatha after her marriage in 1980. She subsequently moved to Parsippany in 1983, where she resided until her death. Mary was a proud graduate of East Orange Catholic High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She earned a degree in Business Administration in 1978. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Weaver Partnership in Morristown, AT&T in Basking Ridge and for 15 years at Novartis in East Hanover, before retiring at age 62. Mary was a member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, where was active in many ministries. She was a Eucharistic Minister, coordinator of religious education, a member of the Lay Associates in the sisters of the Church, pre-Cana, Alpha retreat for Confirmation students and also helped with the food pantry. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John & Eleanor (nee Monahan) Lucas. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Albert; Her sister Joan Lucas Doucette of Manahawkin, Patricia Bottorff of Toms River, and her brother David Lucas of North Carolina. Also, survived by her beloved pets, Midnight and Kirby.
