I will always remember the sound of Nick's squeaky just-beginning-to-crack voice as he shared with us in class. He would excitedly share his vocabulary Word Square, and inevitably his connection to it would be something to do with video games. He always had a sweet smile on his face and was such a kind boy. He will remain be in my heart as well as in those of his classmates.
Death is never easy to accept, but Nick's faith in Jesus Christ offers us comfort in the assurance that he is safe and well in his savior's arms.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14
May the peace and strength of our Lord comfort and sustain you in this sorrowful time.

I was so glad to have worked in your classes as a paraprofessional and to have had the pleasure to see grow with that smile and twinkle in your eyes to start the day. Always respectful but a bit shy.. Until I couldn't believe my eyes. You worked so hard last summer at Camp Innovate with my Matthew and actually was the lead male role in the play. I was so proud of you and told all the teachers! You will always hold joy in my heart!

I cannot put into words how sorry I am for your loss. Nick was truly one of the kindest, sweetest kids you could ever meet. He was always polite, always friendly, always optimistic, and always ready to join his friends for an on-line video game. He was a friend to both of my children. He will be sorely missed.
One of my favorite memories of Nick will always be seeing how happy he was to see how much candy he collected when he and his friends went Trick or Treating together.
My heart goes out to the Silva Family. Veronica and Oscar are amazing parents.
