Obituary of VALERIY SHATKIN

Valeriy Shatkin passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, surrounded by his family. He was 71. Born in Moldova, Mr. Shatkin had lived in Russia and Uzbekistan before immigrating to the United States in 1991. He had lived in Elizabeth, NJ before coming to Montville, NJ 18 years ago. Mr. Shatkin had worked as a construction engineer for 16 years before retiring ten years ago. Survivors include his two sons, George Shatkin and his wife Tina of Parsippany, and Stan Shatkin and his wife Olga of Montville; two sisters, and five grandchildren.
