Obituary of VALERIY VAL SHATKIN

Valeriy Shatkin passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ surrounded by his family. He was 72. Born and raised in Moldova, Mr. Shatkin had lived in Russia and Uzbekistan before immigrating to the United States in 1991. He had lived in Elizabeth before coming to Montville Township 18 years ago. Mr. Shatkin had earned his Bachelors Degree while living in Moscow, Russia. He was a construction engineer in America for 16 years, retiring 10 years ago. Survivors include his two sons, George and his wife Tina of Parsippany, and Stan and his wife Olga of Montville; two sisters Maria Gelman of Texas and Zeniada Anikiyenko of Ukraine; and five grandchildren.
