Marjorie Schnitzer (nee Wojtkowski) passed away Sunday November 12, at Care One in Parsippany. She was 69. Marjorie was born in Linden, NJ and attended Linden High School before moving to Nutley, NJ. She had lived in Nutley for over 30 years, raising her three children there. More recently, Marjorie had lived in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany for the last 10 years. After high school, Marjorie attended Secretarial School and specialized in legal secretarial work. She worked many years in the legal field as a legal secretary. For many of those years she worked for the Lindabury, McCormick & Estabrook Law Firm in Westfield, NJ. She was extremely proficient at typing and shorthand, and contributed invaluably to the firm. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; Stanley and Mary Wojtkowski. She is survived by her three children, Jennifer Lepre and her husband Ed of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, Paul Schnitzer and his wife Isis of Orlando, Fl., and David Schnitzer and his wife Angel of Boonton, NJ; her sister, Joan Lapham and her husband Fred of Plymouth, MA; her brother, John Wojtkowski and his wife Ute of Cranford, NJ and her grandchildren; Isabel, Sarah, Grace, John, and Amelia whom she loved dearly. The family of Marjorie requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie's name to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center of Morristown Memorial Hospital www.atlantichealth/f4mmc.org
