Obituary of LUCIA LUCILLE RONCA
Please share a memory of LUCIA to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lucia Ronca (nee Fallivene) graced this earth for almost one hundred years. This world is a better place because of her life and those that she touched with her love.
Lucille was one of five children born to Rose and Sabino Fallivene; Sister, Gloria Cannata, Brothers, Sabin Fallivene , Joe Fallivene (deceased) and Martin Fallivene (deceased).
Known to many as Lucy, Lucille and of late, Miss Lucy, she is remembered for her deep love of family and friends, pride in her Italian heritage, years of club meetings at St. Ann's Social Seniors, the Red Hat Society , Begin Again Club and of course, her devotion to God and St. Peter the Apostle Church, all in Parsippany.
Lucille spent 19 years in her dream job working beside her best friend Midge in the Guidance Office of Parsippany High School.
Lucille was a classy dresser, Macy's most devoted shopper, who had great attention to detail. Lucille graced every Holiday with her luscious Italian Cheesecake that she spent years perfecting.
Born in Newark, Lucille lived for over 60 years in Lake Hiawatha before moving to Succasunna to spend her final years with her daughter, Kathy.
Lucille was married to her husband Jim until his passing 17 years ago. But her deepest love was that she bestowed on her Grandchildren, Lee Michael and Leslie Vodofsky, Marlie and Dan Kelleher, Andrew and Rachel Vodofsky, James Ronca-Bender, and of course, her great granddaughter, her namesake, Lucia Avery Vodofsky.
