L. Michael Halleran passed away Saturday morning, December 23, 2017 at Morris HIlls Nursing Center in Morristown, He was 74.
Born in East Chester, New York, he had lived his early years there before moving with his family to Cedar Grove, NJ. He later lived in Fairfield, NJ, and Chatham, NJ before coming to Morristown, NJ many years ago.
Mr. Halleran was the chief operating officer of Wheeler Industrial Corporation of Irvington for the last ten years. Previously, he was employed as the president of R & F Alloy Wires of Fairfield, NJ for many years.
An avid golfer, Mr. Halleran was a member of the Forrest Hill Field Club of Belleville.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Olive (nee Sommer) Halleran; and a sister, Nancy B. Halleran; he is survived by his brother, William K. Halleran and his wife Maryann of Towaco, NJ a nephew, Christopher Halleran; two nieces Jennifer Halleran and Sharon Davis; and a great-nephew and niece.
