Mildred June Betzig (nee Berger), 94, passed away Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she had lived in Chicago, Il, and Mountain Lakes, NJ, before coming to Denville, NJ 20 years ago.
Mrs. Betzig served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.
She had been a clerical worker with Newsweek Magazine in Mountain Lakes before her retirement.
Mrs. Betzig was a former volunteer at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Betzig; she is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Manganaro and her husband Joseph of Salem, MO, Barbara White of Denville, NJ, and Nancy Ehringer and her husband Drew of Charlestown, SC; a sister, Dorothy Parks of Pittsburgh, PA.; four grandsons, Christopher White, Tyler Ehringer, Bradley Ehringer, and Kyle Ehringer; and two great-granddaughters, Kelty and Harper White.
A memorial gathering for Mildred will be announced in the future.
