Joseph Longo passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 10, 2018 at his home in Parsippany, NJ. He was 90.
Born and raised in Newark, NJ he had been a resident of Irvington and North Edison before coming to Parsippany 20 years ago.
Mr. Longo served in the United States Marine Corps during peacetime.
He was a tool and dye maker for the Premier Dye Casting Co of Avenel, NJ for 52 years before his retirement 18 years ago.
Mr. Longo was a member of the Dye Caster's Association.
Preceded in death by his son, Frank Longo; he is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Rose M. (nee Montesano); his two loving children, Angela Deleasa and her husband Bucky of Montville, and Nicholas J. Longo and his wife Christina of Bridgewater; six grandchildren, Dina, Danielle, Michael, Kathleen, Nicole and Nina; and three great-grandchildren, Alena, Valentina and Siena.
