John Jack Passler, known to all as "Big John," passed away suddenly February 14, 2018 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, NY. He was 64.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he had lived in Ridgewood, NY and Glendale, NY before coming to Montville, NJ thirty years ago.
Mr. Passler had been a purchasing manager with Haskell New York located in Brooklyn, NY for the last 30 years.
John was a member of the German Sports Club of Ridgewood, NY. He also enjoyed collecting coins and key chains, gem mining, and Sudoku.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary (nee Alaimo) Passler; his beloved son, Mel Mason Passler of Montville; his sister, Margarete Passler and her partner John of Maspeth, NY; his sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Carmine Monaco of Whitehouse Station; and "daughter #2," Amber O'Neill and her children, Jameson and Ruger O'Neill of Pine Brook.
