Obituary of BRUNO TOGNETTI

Bruno Tognetti passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 25, 2018 at Chilton Memorial Hospital. He was 84. Born and raised in Queens, NY, he had come to the Towaco section of Montville, NJ 50 years ago. Mr. Tognetti had been a machinist and foreman with GMI in Fairfield, NJ and later Automatic Switch in Florham Park, NJ before retiring 17 years ago. He was a private pilot and volunteered flying with the Coast Guard following 911. Mr. Tognetti is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Julia (nee Spano); three sons, Bruce Tognetti and his wife Karen of Indiana, Mark Tognetti and his wife Carol of Whippany, NJ, and Chris Tognetti and his wife Amy of Newton, NJ; and seven grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Mark David, Samantha, Matthew, Natalie, and Jordan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lino Tognetti.
