Manuel M. Gatuz Retired mechanical engineer and businessman Manuel M. Gatuz, 94, of Montville, N.J., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville, N.J., surrounded by his loving family.
Manuel was born in Turo Bocaue Bulacan, Philippines. He taught mathematics at the Province of Leyte. He was a mechanical engineer for Border Machinery and Heavy Equipment Company (BORMAHECO) in Makati City, Philippines. He was a businessman dealing with heavy equipment in Caloocan City, Metro Manila.
Manuel was the beloved husband of 71 years of Remedios David Gatuz; devoted father of Rebecca Victorioso, M.D., Thelma Gatuz Manning, Ph.D., and Salvador Gatuz, liberal arts degree; cherished grandfather of eight, and loving great-grandfather of three. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in the Philippines
