Obituary of GARY R. SCHWARTZ

Gary Schwartz passed away Sunday night April 8, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, after a long illness. He was 76 years old. Gary was born in Albuquere, NM to Martin and Mary Schwartz. His family later relocated to Miami, Fl. He attended The University of Florida and The University of Miami. Gary came to NJ in 1964 and married his loving wife Barbara (nee Stamato) in 1965, settling in Little Ferry and then in Montville. Gary was part owner and Chief Financial Officer of The Vito Stamato & Co. Solid Waste Contractor for more than 30 years. He was an avid coin collector and a lifetime member of The American Numismatist Association. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mary. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara, his daughter; Kara Pizza, and his two beautiful granddaughters; Courtney 14, and Jenny 11.
