Obituary of EUGENE J. KLAUSNER

Eugene J. Klausner, 90, passed away Monday morning, June 4, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ. Born and raised in New York, NY, he came to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1962. Mr. Klausner was a graduate of New York University, and a US Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was a salesman with Sam's of Livingston for 27 years before retiring 15 years ago. Previously, he was the proprietor of Kay Brothers, Inc. clothing store in Lake Hiawatha. An avid NY Giants and NY Mets fan, Mr. Klausner was also a member of the Pine Brook Jewish Center. Preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (maiden name Belser) in 1999; he is survived by his sons, Alan D. Klausner (Barbara) of Tampa, FL, and Robert J. Klausner (Lydia) of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; and four grandchildren, Rachel, Eric, Jonathan, and Rebecca.
