Obituary of FREDERICK JOHN GANNON

Frederick John Gannon passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston. He was 65.
Born and raised in Orange, NJ, he had lived in West Orange, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany, NJ in 1991.
Mr. Gannon was a letter carrier with the US Postal Service in Orange for 30 years, retiring three years ago. Following his retirement, he worked as a driver with Dial A Ride in Montville.
Preceded in death by his siblings, Dolores Tomaselli, Madeline Noborine, Mae (Mazie) Gannon, and James Gannon; he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dorene P. (nee Tomaselli); his daughter, Theresa Ann Iwashko and her husband Thomas of Lake Hiawatha; four siblings, Edward Gannon, Richard Gannon, Robert Peterson, and Patricia Cassidy; many nieces and nephews; and his "furry grand kids" Lucy, Ricky, Fred, Ethel, and Mrs. Trumble.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
