Dear family of Apurva Choudhari:
I would like to share my memories of Apurva. We started our careers together at Novartis Pharma in 1997. He had just finished his PhD from Univ. of Pittsburgh. We were six of us, hired to start the Process Technologies group for Novartis. We spent many hours together trying to figure out how to get things done. We lived in the same Apartment complex in Randolph, NJ and used to commute together on many days. Apurva was someone who was always willing to help others. Keen sense of humor, clarity of thought, calmness under pressure, ability to discern the right from wrong were his hallmarks. While I had moved on to other organizations, Apurva stayed on to build his long and impressive career. I am saddened beyond words to hear about his loss. Apurva and I went to the same college and met every day for four years often travelling together. We visited each other's homes attended each other's weddings and then on visits to each other's country. I am shocked beyond words and pray that God give his family strength to bear this huge loss. I was greatly saddened to hear about your loss. I had the good fortune of working with Apurva on several occasions over the past 20 years at Novartis. He was a pleasure to work with. He stood up for what he believed in, but he was always respectful and kind. He will be missed. Please accept my sympathy.
